Muneishi knives are family run knife makers, now in the 3 th generation with a 70 years history. Muneishi knives come from the Tosa region, which Is well known for garden tool forging.
Kousuke Muneishi is a young traditional craftsman. His skill lies in knife making.
The knives are individually hand forged from Blue 2 steel and clad with soft carbon steel. The looks are traditional with the Kourouchi finish (black upper half of the blade).
The knife is grind is very well done, thin precise overall very good fit and finish.
Test cutting an onion was a real pleasure.
