This Imanishi 700 grit whetstone is great for thinning knives , bevel resetting and chip repair.
Or simply when you want a bit faster cutting speed when sharpening knives.
This stone needs 10min soaking time before use. It is also wise to splash with water while sharpening.
Don’t leave the stones in water for long periods of time. When finished sharpening leave them to dry.
